Rhubarb Cawood delight

This variety of rhubarb is not as vigorous as MacDonald, but has a darker red color and slightly thicker stems. Cawood Delight has good growth and will excel in northern regions. It may have difficulty in areas subject to long periods of high heat.

With thick, sweet-tasting stems that are red all the way to the tip, this variety is excellent for baking and preserving.
