Of Canadian origin, a real red rhubarb. Red from the top of the soil to the beginning of the leaf. The texture is fine, fiberless, tender and juicy with unparalleled flavor. The surface is smooth, moderately thick and the flesh is pink to dark red throughout the petiole.

We are of the same opinion as when we stated—that it is the best of all rhubarbs. We believe that it will in time supplant many of the older varieties as it is much better when cooked. We know that it will bring 10 cents a dozen bunches over any other variety and will be in demand.
