Rhubarb Cherry Red

A beautiful, red rhubarb which originated from California and is a direct decendant of Burbank’s Crimson Winter Rhubarb. It is of large size and very highly productive, producing a crop within a few months after planting and yielding several crops in a season. It does not go dormant like most varieties, but is everbearing, producing the year around under favorable weather conditions, and a planting will last for years. It is so tender that it does not require peeling, and is well flavored and less. acid than some sorts and requires less sugar.
