Rhubarbe Royal Ruby

D'origine canadienne, une véritable Rhubarbe rouge. Rouge du haut du sol jusqu'au début de la feuille. La texture est fine, sans fibres, tendre et juteuse avec une saveur inégalée. La surface est lisse, moyennement épaisse et la chair est rose à rouge foncé sur tout le pétiole.

La rhubarbe rubis n'est pas aussi grande que Victoria, mais la longueur moyenne des pétioles est de 30 po et d'environ 1/2 à 1 po" d'épaisseur. Apperemment ce cultivars produit des semences près de 95 pour cent fidèle au plant mère.
