Hybrid of Macdonald and Sutton’s Seedless cultivars. Characteristics: erect habit; unusual vigor; color quite good; long, wide petioles; fine flavor, requires less sugar.

Jersey Rhubarb — From several crosses made in 1946. We secured 300 seedlings. One of these produced plants with unusual vigor, reasonably good color, excellent yield with a fine flavor (sweet). This iety was named Jersey on Deeember 2, 1954.
